Program notes:
"Songs on Home" explores the feeling of belonging, and the search for a place to call home. In setting the poetry of Carolyn Guinzio from her book "how much of what falls will be left when it gets to the ground?", the music aims to inspire this feeling of finding one's place in the world looking through different points of view. Between looking down from the endless nebula of the universe and looking up from the smallest spaces on the ground, this feeling of belonging exists in many forms, be it loneliness, contentment, anger, and beyond.
